More about the project

What is the social/environmental problem/issue that this project will address?
Hopefully this will encourage members of the Local Community to visit the Media Hub to learn new skills in a safe environment. This project will bring people together from different backgrounds and abilities, enabling them to work together, keeping teenagers off the streets, and allowing more mature residents to perhaps try something new that they will enjoy.
Can you give us some statistics on this problem?
What is your solution?
To provide a safe environment for all Local Residents, young and old to learn new skills, produce Videos and record Music.
How will you deliver this?
By offering the equipment and support needed for people to come together in one space to meet, collaborate and engage with others in the local area in learning new skills.

Get involved

Here are some great ways to get involved with the project and help out. If you have...
  • 2 minutes
Join our Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/arts.music.community, like us and then share our page. On Twitter, follow us @Minersartnmusic and retweet our key messages.
  • 5 minutes
Put the link to our campaign on your Facebook or Twitter page.
  • 15 minutes
Visit our website: http://www.theminers.org.uk/ and forward the link to your friends and networks asking them if they’d like to either offer a loan or get involved in the project.
  • 30 minutes
Have a look at our video and notice how it has become an exciting place to visit. We have hosted lot’s of free Events over the past couple of years and will continue to do so for as long as we can, but still require Funding to finish the rest of the building for the Local Community.
  • A few hours
While the internet makes it easy to communicate, there are many people who would like to support our cause, but they don't have access to the internet. If you can spare the time, how about putting up some posters or handing out some leaflets. Contact us and we will provide these for you.
  • Regular time commitment
Join our Volunteer Team to get the word out about the Media Hub, and to make the Media Hub an amazing place to be.
