More about the project

What is the social/environmental problem/issue that this project will address?

Currently food is grossly under-valued in society. We believe that food is not a commodity; it is the essence of life itself.

What is your solution?

This project provides a viable alternative model to supermarkets. It spells health for the community, land and economy. By promoting fresh, local, organic produce we are supporting the health of our community, the soil structure of our land and protecting our wildlife. We hope this and other similar schemes will continue to spread throughout the country.

How will you deliver this?

We supply 45 homes with a bag of healthy, organic fruit and vegetables each week. We hope to continue to grow as a business in a sustainable way. The tractor will increase our efficiency and improve the quality and quantity of what we grow. We foster links within the community through weekly volunteer mornings and regular events throughout the year.
