FundIt.Buzz (formerly Buzzbnk) was co-founded by Michael Norton, OBE and Theresa Burton in 2009. The website launched in January 2011 as the UK's 1st crowdfunding platform specifically for social enterprises and charities.
Between January 2011 and September 2017 we helped raise over £1 million for over 150 projects looking to help make the world a better place. We are very proud to have been a part of their journey but sadly, as of December 31, 2017 we had to stop accepting new projects due to lack of sufficient revenue to make the website operations sustainable.
Thank you so very much to those who have supported us along the way - we couldn't have done it without you. And thank you to the project owners who chose to use our service. We wish you much success in your future endeavours!

In Memory - Stephen Lloyd, one of our founding Board Members
With deep regret and sadness our founding Board Member, Stephen Lloyd, tragically passed away August 20th 2014.
A full list of all the wonderful memorials and tributes to Stephen can be found here - we will miss him dearly but the work he carried out in the UK to further the charity and social investment sector will leave a lasting impact: http://www.bwbllp.com/in-memory-of-stephen-lloyd
